KENNETH DUNCAN – PHONY GRANTS

BEWARE: Although this scam shows a specific name and photo, this scam is perpetrated by many people across FaceBook.

The guy claims to be Kenneth Lee Duncan, an employee of The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). That organization is legit, but they have nothing to do with him, according to their Inspector General Laura Davis.

She said whoever is pulling a scam. When you “friend” this guy or someone you knows “friends” him, he contacts you claiming you are entitled to a federal grant. In the case of one caller to my radio show, she was offered a grant of $250,000! There was just one catch: She had to pay Duncan (or whoever he really is) $1050 in fees to get the grant. Problem is … the grant is phony. They urge people contacted by this Facebook member to contact Facebook and report the fraud.
