THE LATEST CALL about this scum bag came from Will who paid Eric Brown at Go Cat Speed Shop $7,500 seven years ago for custom engine work and got nothing in return. Over the years, Will said he tried to resolve the issue but was unsuccessful. Meanwhile Eric Brown has been texting him reams of excuses, even including a claim of mental illness! Will finally got frustrated with the delays and called us for help.
Unfortunately, this call is just one of a line of unhappy consumers who have dealt with Scumbag Brown, “bad, bad Eric Brown the baddest mad in this whole damn town” (could not resist).
One of first calls came from Joe in southern California, He said he had paid Eric Brown a total of $11,500 for custom engine work and got NOTHING! Joe demanded a refund and scumbag Brown only returned $1,000.
We have even heard from a victim in New Zealand! His name is Ralph and after paying him thousands and thousands of dollars, he realized he had been scammed! Here are some of his own words:
“… I never stopped sending emails to him and from time to time he replies with the same excuses or during Covid with lots of conspiracy emails. With another victim from Los Angeles, who I met through the internet, we where considering taking him to court, but the costs for the lawyer and Eric’s financial situation showed us that it wouldn’t make sense.
“Living in New Zealand makes it impossible for me to get this case solved or to hold him accountable. He will get away with it, as you said during your show.
“Very frustrating for me and an expensive lesson learned. I never thought this would happen to me as I have met so many nice guys worldwide in the hot rod community and have done a lot of business with hot-rodders without a hitch …”
