CHRIS FORD CHANGES BUSINESS NAMES LIKE UNDERWEAR, AND THEY ALL STINK!

Chris Ford is still up to his old tricks! Since my original article was written, he has ripped off even more people, including Rich & Ruchann, who complained that they paid him $17,000 (from their retirement savings) for home improvements. That’s the last time they saw him!

A few days after they paid him, he called to say he was going out of business! They have not heard from him since then and he still has their money. In all this asshole ripped off ore than 30 victims! So, my question is, Why is he not in jail?

According to the Colorado Contractors Trust Act, when money is collected from a customer, that money must be held in trust for that job and can not be spent on anything else!

Chris Ford has advertised as Designer’s Choice, Colorado Bathrooms, Colorado Bathrooms & More, Therapy Baths, Cobblestone Investments and many, many more.

Whatever the name, he keeps it long enough to cheat people then moves on to another name.

Another one of his many victims is Jim, who called my radio show for help. He said he paid Ford nearly $9,000 and got very little, poor quality work to show for it.

When another victim, Ken, asked Ford if he was going to finish his job, Ford basically told his customer, Too bad, sometimes things don’t work out and businesses fail.

By the way … he even managed to have an “A+” rating with the Better Business Bureau. But that shouldn’t surprise you, I also know of a felon, serving time in prison for financial fraud with an “A” rating!

I have found the BBB to be an unreliable and undependable barometer of business today.  In my opinion, the BBB is a dinosaur in today’s world of instant feedback, reviews and social media. We don’t need them to tell us how “good” or “bad” a company is … people will reveal the truth!
